Little Birdie Secrets, a blog I subscribe to had a guest writer post a guide to making your own bird bath and feeder out of old teacups and saucers. Not sure I entirely understand the reason for the teaspoon glued to the saucer, but it all adds to the effect and I can just imagine these popping out at random points around the garden with the birdies squabbling for space. I don't think it would stand up (literally) to the big fat pigeons (two or three at a time) who like to perch on the one in the garden at the moment.
The designer, Cathy from Cap Creations says that this particular feeder has been in her garden for approximately 6 years and hasn't needed repairs and is still sturdy...probably needs a good wash every once in a while though!

I think that's a really cute idea. And a real talking point when visitor go into your garden.
Yeah, I quite like the idea of making one...but that might be because I've become obsessed with tea sets recently :)
