If you're a Mr. Men fan as well as a Mad Men fan, hopefully this should tickle your fancy post boxing day. The Poke website have combined the AMC television programme and the Roger Hargreaves' creation to create Mr. Mad Men. A brilliant combination of a classic kiddies cartoon and the wonderfully executed series based on a 1960's New York advertising firm and their booze swilling, cigarette puffing, skirt chasing antics. Plus Jon Hamm as the wonderfully damaged Don Draper.
Prospective titles in the series include, 'Mr. Sterling Gets Angry', 'Mr. Draper Loses His Trousers' and 'Little Miss Peggy Gets Another Bump In Her Tummy'. Admittedly, if you're not a Mad Men (or Mr. Men) fan, this series may not be your cup of tea - also the joke kinda relies on you knowing at least a little about the characters. However, if you are this will hopefully ease the annoyance of Rupert Murdoch stealing it away from the BBC. Boo!
Plus, I 'd really quite like a Mr. Mad Men t-shirt. Yes they have t-shirts!
