Empire this month featured a Star Wars inspired illustration by James Hance from his series Wookiee the Chew. Featuring Chewie as Pooh, Hans as Christopher Robin and an AT-AT as the always depressed Eeyore.A brilliant - in my mind - re-imagining of the original drawings by E. H. Shepard...
...I think A.A. Milne would approve.
Hance is a painter and cartoonist with a cheerfully pop culture led, icon inspired and Star Wars and Muppet obsessed view of art. An obvious geek at heart. But you've got to love that.
Do you think Wookiee the Chew likes honey as much as Winnie the Pooh? Bet he hates x-wing fighters as much as bees!
