Dandy Dandelions

Mum and I came up with a pattern to make dandelions. Well...I made a suggestion, she worked it out and I executed it, but definitely a joint effort. I put them in the window this morning and I think they're swiftly becoming my favourite of our crocheted flowers. I think it's because they're happy looking flowers. Even though they're weeds and a pain to get rid of they always look really pretty to me, scattering the fields.

Definitely a sign of the spring and summer coming.

Louise, my little sister, says she thinks they should break into song, Muppet style, every time she looks at them. And I have to agree. They do have a Muppety quality. Wonder what they'd sing? I can imagine Dandelions being complete chatterboxes for some reason. Though they'd say nothing sensible.

Lots more window shots to come.

PUT GOOGLY EYES ON THEM. You know you want to.

Also you could modify the design to make thistles for Burns / St Andrew's type themes as well. How cool. You lot and your window displays are wasted on Blair you know. ;p xx
